Charlotte has worked as an Assistant Forensic Scientist for 10 years. Subsequently she decided to take a career break to raise her 2 children. Charlotte has a Degree and an HND in Applied Biological Sciences. After volunteering at Bristol RSPCA she realised how rewarding it could be to work with and enhance the lives of animals. Charlotte’s key interest is rescue dogs, of which she has had a lot of experience, both large and small. She currently has 2 Westies (both rescues), one is from Bath RSPCA and the other one came from Many Tears in Wales. The latter has been a real project. She was an ex-breeding bitch from a puppy farm who arrived in a very sad state (thin, bad skin and terrified of humans). Charlotte worked hard to gain her trust and she is now happy, confident and living the life she deserves. She also rescued a collie x lab from Bath RSPCA who passed away after a battle with mouth cancer. Her other Westie has had dry eye for the last 9 years, therefore Charlotte is very well educated in this disorder and experienced in eye care and eye drop administration. She also has 2 rescue guinea pigs. She has experience of cats, hamsters, fish, and birds. She also takes a keen interest in all manor of small animals including reptiles and spiders.
Charlotte is CRB checked, responsible, trustworthy, caring and professional. She understands the need for first class pet care. Animal welfare is her passion; this means that your pet(s) will always be her main concern. She also knows that each animal has its own individual needs, which she is happy to cater for.
